WHEN AND WHERE IS THE EVENT?
Ruff Ryder Cup 2 takes place Sunday, November 1, 2026, at First Tee of Hampton Roads. Check-in and start times will be shared before the event.
HOW MUCH IS REGISTRATION?
Entry is $125 per player. The event benefits First Tee of Hampton Roads and helps create opportunities for young people through golf.
WHAT’S THE FORMAT?
It’s HRBT vs. Get Loose Golf, with plans for up to 60 players competing 30 v 30. You’ll play three rounds around the nine-hole course:
Scramble: Both partners play their own ball; the better score counts.
Alternate Shot: Partners take turns playing one ball.
Singles Match Play: Each player faces an opponent head-to-head.
IS THIS A WALKING-ONLY EVENT?
Yes—all 27 holes are walking only. Riding carts are not available. Bring a comfortable golf bag and shoes you can walk in all day.
CAN I BRING A PUSHCART?
Yes. There will be some to borrow and for sale as well.
DO I NEED TO BRING A PARTNER?
No! Register individually. You can submit a partner preference, but requests are not guaranteed.
CAN I CHOOSE MY TEAM?
You can indicate HRBT, Get Loose Golf, or no preference during registration. Final assignments will be determined through the team draft.
WHEN IS THE TEAM DRAFT?
The draft takes place Friday, October 30 at Get Loose Golf, during our Bogeys & Boogeymen Halloween BBQ + Draft Night. That event has separate registration and includes trunk-or-treat, vendors, kids’ mini games, and golf competitions.
DO I NEED A GHIN HANDICAP?
Please provide your GHIN number and current Handicap Index when registering. If you don’t have an established handicap, that is fine, we are simply asking for pairings and matchups.
CAN FAMILY AND FRIENDS COME WATCH?
Yes! It is highly encouraged that families, friends, and supporters come cheer on the teams and enjoy the event atmosphere.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
Your clubs, golf balls, tees, comfortable walking shoes, a refillable water bottle, and layers for the weather. Bring a charged phone for event communications and scoring.
WHAT IF I HAVE A FOOD ALLERGY OR ACCESSIBILITY NEED?
Include it on your registration form and reach out before the event. If you have questions about the walking-only format, please contact us before paying.
WHO DOES THE EVENT BENEFIT?
First Tee of Hampton Roads. We’re bringing our golf communities together to help more young people access the game and the opportunities that come with it.
