Fore the Ladies is hosting a double header: A trip to Sand Valley AND Erin Hills! This four-nights, five-days event includes accommodations, seven rounds of golf, and two private group dinners (plus a great FTL swag bag, memories and incredible few days!). See our itinerary below for more details. Also, don't get it twisted. We don't care what you shot at Fore the Ladies event. There's no competition and we're here to experience bucket list golf destinations. Settled on 12,000 acres of rugged dunes in the prehistoric Central Sands of Wisconsin, Sand Valley is home to six world-class golf courses featuring firm, links-style conditions, along with tennis, water activities, and farm-to-table dining. Erin Hills is a course like none other — routed over the kettle moraine areas left by glaciers, surrounded by wetlands and a river, with ground that consists of glacial till of varied composition of sand and small rock. Both resorts have hosted USGA Championships and Erin Hills most recently was the home of the 2025 U.S. Women's Open.

Hi! I'm Abby Liebenthal, President and Founder of Fore the Ladies. I'm so excited to join you on this getaway to TWO of my favorite golf destinations: Sand Valley and Erin Hills! I love playing golf with a playlist in the background and will toast to all of our small wins with an espresso martini at night. Plus, I'll be encouraging everyone to eat at least one chocolate chip cookie at Erin Hills - my favorite of all time.

FAQs

Can I book with a foursome?

Each individual must make their own reservation. You will be able to share your preferred playing partners and roommates preferences in a post-registration survey. Can I book only myself for a double room? Yes, and we will follow up after registration to receive your roommate request.

What should my skill level be?

All levels are welcome, but we do recommend having played 18 holes regularly as we are playing 36 holes two of the days and we will be abiding pace of play policies.

Does registration include travel?

No, the fee for this event is inclusive of everything listed in the itinerary as well as accommodations at both Sand Valley and Erin Hills, plus meals listed. We will connect the group to coordinate travel with other participants if you wish! Transportation from Erin Hills to Sand Valley is NOT included. We'll caravan!

Are caddies required?

Yes, caddies are required for each round except for the Sandbox (par-3 course). Caddies typically carry two bags each. The fee is $100 per bag, per round + gratuity. At Commons the fee is $70 per bag, per round + gratuity. We will be taking caddies for all Sand Valley rounds, but the Commons will be optional. At Erin Hills, we will have caddies but their fee and gratuity is included in your registration.

Can I receive a refund?

This event is non-refundable unless a spot is filled with a new participant.

Score doesn't matter!

Fore the Ladies Golf Getaways are all about the camaraderie and exploring a bucket list golf destination. There is not a competitive element to our events, but you're welcome to play a little game within your foursome if you wish!

Pace of Play Policy

We pride ourselves on having quick pace of play while having a good time. Below are guidelines that we expect all participants to abide by when playing in FTL Golf Getaways. 1. Pick Your Play: Go Solo, Best Ball, or Scramble — whatever sounds like the most fun for your group! 2. Double Par Max Scoring: Once you reach double par, pick it up and move on! 3. Play Ready Golf: If you’re ready and it’s safe, go for it! A few ways to play ready golf: Two practice swings max and then let it rip, prepare for your shot while your playing partners are hitting. 4. Putts: Putts within one club length can be a gimme, especially for newer golfers. More experienced golfers can play them out if they prefer. 5. Keep It Moving: Give lost balls 3 minutes max, keep things moving, and help your group stay on pace. Most importantly - HAVE FUN!
