Warrior Golf Academy (WGA) is a mobile, nationwide non-profit organization dedicated to empowering military personnel, first responders, and veterans through the game of golf. Founded with a deep commitment to service and community integration, WGA brings elite, tour-level recreational experiences directly to Service Members, specifically focusing on isolated, hard-to-reach, forward-deployed, and restricted installations globally. WGA’s mission goes beyond the fairway. We specialize in executing major morale missions that provide support services, boost camaraderie, and facilitate community integration for those who serve. By removing the barriers to entry and bringing the experience directly to the troops, we ensure that premier golf and wellness resources reach the men and women who need them most. Tour-Level Experience & Instruction Operating without the limitations of a fixed physical facility, WGA is fully mobile and equipped to deliver high-level instruction and player development anywhere. High-Tech Instruction: We utilize precision training aids and top-tier indoor simulator software—including Uneekor, GSPro, and Pro-Tee—to deliver professional-grade swing analysis and development. Event Activation: WGA elevates tournaments and military morale events by providing on-site, tour-level activations, including premium custom club stamping for bag tags, putters, and wedges. Leadership WGA is led by Founder and CEO Jonathan Michael Sessa, a PGA Coach and proud U.S. Army Veteran who previously served as a certified Army Armorer. Drawing on his military background and PGA expertise, Jonathan uniquely understands both the high-stress environments of military service and the therapeutic, discipline-building aspects of golf. Key Initiatives WGA consistently partners with organizations like We Fund The Blue to execute large-scale events that make a tangible impact. Flagship initiatives include: The USA 250th Secured Horizon Series: A global initiative hosting 4-man military scrambles at forward-deployed and restricted installations. Major Morale Events: Comprehensive support events featuring golf tournaments, equipment deliveries, and live entertainment at locations like Naval Station Guantanamo Bay. Charity Invitationals: Coordinating and supporting premier events like the Garmin Global Supplier Awards and Charity Golf Invitational.
